enforcersu 1 Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 I'm having a bit of a weird issue, where Emby will seemingly attempt a recording ~10 times before actually starting the recording. See image here: I've uploaded my server log here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dldo8F561DZa_O_u081jZCObZ-d-uI1Z I've tried the following troubleshooting steps: Rebooting the server. Rebooting my machine. Rebooting my HDHR devices. The problem keeps persisting. The HDHR devices and Computer running emby server are both connected to the same router off the modem, so it shouldn't be an internet issue. There also shouldn't be an issue with signal as the cable / cablecards seem to be functioning fine. Could it be a problem with one of my specific HDHR Prime devices? Thanks!

enforcersu 1 Posted November 10, 2017 Author Posted November 10, 2017 Generally what does it mean when an HDHR returns that error? (I suppose I should follow up on the SD forums, but wasn't sure if you've seen this before?)
Luke 42085 Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 Usually it means there is no available tuner.
enforcersu 1 Posted November 10, 2017 Author Posted November 10, 2017 Hmm, it seems what is actually happening, however, is that it's tuning and stopping the stream 20171110-14:31:01 Tuner: tuner1 tuning 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820)20171110-14:31:02 Tuner: tuner1 streaming http to 192.168.86.121:4952420171110-14:31:02 CableCARD: tuner1 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820) access = subscribed20171110-14:31:02 Tuner: tuner1 http stream ended (remote closed)20171110-14:32:02 Tuner: tuner1 tuning 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820)20171110-14:32:02 Tuner: tuner1 streaming http to 192.168.86.121:4961720171110-14:32:02 Tuner: tuner1 http stream ended (remote closed)20171110-14:33:02 Tuner: tuner1 tuning 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820)20171110-14:33:03 Tuner: tuner1 streaming http to 192.168.86.121:4970520171110-14:33:03 CableCARD: tuner1 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820) access = subscribed20171110-14:33:03 Tuner: tuner1 http stream ended (remote closed)20171110-14:34:03 Tuner: tuner1 tuning 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820)20171110-14:34:03 Tuner: tuner1 streaming http to 192.168.86.121:4977320171110-14:34:04 CableCARD: tuner1 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820) access = subscribed20171110-14:34:04 Tuner: tuner1 http stream ended (remote closed)20171110-14:35:04 Tuner: tuner1 tuning 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820)20171110-14:35:04 Tuner: tuner1 streaming http to 192.168.86.121:4985620171110-14:35:04 CableCARD: tuner1 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820) access = subscribed20171110-14:35:04 Tuner: tuner1 http stream ended (remote closed)20171110-14:36:04 Tuner: tuner1 tuning 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820)20171110-14:36:04 Tuner: tuner1 streaming http to 192.168.86.121:4992320171110-14:36:04 CableCARD: tuner1 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820) access = subscribed20171110-14:36:04 Tuner: tuner1 http stream ended (remote closed)20171110-14:37:05 Tuner: tuner1 tuning 731 FS1HD (auto:339MHz-8820)20171110-14:37:05 Tuner: tuner1 streaming http to 192.168.86.121:50006 from the logs. Emby is the only thing that uses my HDHR tuners.
enforcersu 1 Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 Could it possibly be driven by bad prioritization between my 2HDHR Prime devices? it seems that when the recording is on one of the HDHR devices it's always fine, only when it goes to the second one does it have issues?
Luke 42085 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 We are not stopping the stream, the hdhr is for whatever reason. It could also be due to loss of signal.
