Watching in progress recordings on webapp

When watching, say, a 2 hour recorded show on webapp (that is still recording), I am never able to seek forward to hour 1 when loading up the recording (I assume this is because that the video is being transcoded on the backend?

 

Is there a way that support can be added to seek in progress recordings before it has had time to buffer to catch up?

It's something that can be improved upon in the future, yes.
