Browsing Artists and Albums takes a long time and no listing

Hi,

 

These folders take a long time when browsing via DLNA and sometimes they timeout (no browsing happpens) Sometimes I get no listings in VLC on Android. Generally I will be able to get the first page listed but I cant go further down the listing, it times out like I said.

 

 

But these are the only folders that has the issues, when I browse my movies, or latest music etc I do not get any issue like that. I think that something is fishy about the way those are listed.

 

Bear in mind that I have hundreds of thousands of files in my media libraries and about 100k songs in the music lib.

Don't you already have a topic about this? I recall discussing this with you before.

I do not think so. I just started the Dlna features a week ago. Maybe I did but I doubt. I could not locate my past post if I had such thing.

 

If the discussion was on this issue, I would be happy to read it. But I can find it.

Here is what I get (in BubbleUPNP) when I try to browse album. This happens after I enter the album folder, and some seconds later this message pop up. Sometimes I can browse the album folders, but artists folder is rarely available. They generally time out.

 

 

Meanwhile "Latest" or regular movie folders are always available for browsing, I never have issues with those.

 

 

I also have other DLNA servers on the same sevrer sharing the same media libraries and I never have issues with those, it I doubt that it is the hardware or the network.
