Emby premiere and friends

Quick question, im contemplating switching from Plex to Emby, but i see the Android and PS4 versions cost money, if i subscribe to Emby myself I see i can use up to 15 devices, does these 15 devices also count for my friends that are invited as users or will to have to pay seperatly?

Hi.  It will include all devices regardless of who uses them.

 

However, this is only for Premiere features.  So, if those friends purchase app unlocks (if available) and don't use any Premiere features (like Live TV) then they would not count towards the limit.

Thanks, but if i understand it correctly on PS4 and Android you can only watch 1 minute unless you have Premium or pay a 1 time fee, so im hoping to avoid telling all of them to pay a 1 time fee, by me simply paying for Premium myself so they can also use it, am I assuming correctly that this will work if i pay for lifetime premium?

Yup that should work. Doesn’t matter who uses the devices.
