ejacobs 0 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 After my system upgraded to 3.2.36 all of my libraries are missing. For some reason all I see is: I've checked the folder paths for each type of media as well as the permissions for the user and they all are correct. If I rescan the libraries that doesn't help either. Any help would be great.
Luke 42079 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Hi, can you try adding a new library with a test folder? it may resolve the others. thanks.
ejacobs 0 Posted November 7, 2017 Author Posted November 7, 2017 I tried adding a new library and scanning the library, but that had no impact. Even worse, now I'm getting an error on my scans. When I look at the logs, I'm now getting this error: Exception of type 'SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException' was thrown. Everything's been working great for a long time - what happen?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Please post a server log. Have you reinstalled from website? https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/52689-library-scan-crashes-emby-server-on-windows-10-version-32360/
ejacobs 0 Posted November 8, 2017 Author Posted November 8, 2017 I reinstalled from the website - yes. It didn't make a difference. In the log there a bunch or errors, I just don't know what they mean, take a look. Thanks log 11-7-17.txt
Luke 42079 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 @@ejacobs since you use the backup plugin, here is what i would suggest doing. shutdown the server, then rename this file: C:\Users\Jacobs Family\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\data\library.db Once you've started back up, use the backup plugin to restore only your user data. Once that is finished the server will restart. Once it has restarted, run a library scan. Things should be back to normal at that point. Thanks !
ejacobs 0 Posted November 9, 2017 Author Posted November 9, 2017 Thanks so much. Everything is working now. The only minor issue I have now is that I had created additional Genres for my movies to divide them into "Kids" "General" "Fitness" etc. and I lost that. I'm thinking the best way to handle that is create Collections or Tags now. If I create tags, I can limit the kids login to only show the kids movies and not the general ones - blocking the "general" tag. Is there a way to add tags in bulk at all? I have approx 1,000 movies. It would take a long time to create them one-by-one. I know I can create a different library for General, Kids, etc. - But my movies aren't organized that way on the storage servers and I kinda like them in one library for searching purposes. I'm open for suggestions. Thanks for all the help..
