rrmelgar 0 Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) no settings have been moved from past weeks/months for this to start happening just taking regular updates having a issue have 2 chrome cast connected on same network one working fine other shows black screen I troubleshoot it for couple of hours looks like one video stream is getting trans-coded and video plays fine but the other video is getting send as direct play which chrome cast can't play as Fios is mpeg-2 tried lots different settings just on this chromecast like limiting bandwidth to force it to trans-code nothing work even the setting under profile chrome cast 480p 1 mbps nothing.. APP iconnects to chrome cast fine.... emby logo on TV and as I select video it spins for while and then black screen only info i can see is on server main page. I can play recording fine since they been pre comverted but not live TV on this particular chrome cast device any other streaming app works fine HBO, netflix, youtube, you name it it saw the status on server dashboard one 1 device it said transcoding on other said direct play which chromecast doesn't support issues like this i have fixed by reseting chrome cast back to factory settings.... and redoing settings and reloading emby but not working ...... 3rd pic have just deleted and reset all emby settings still having issue..... direct playing on dash server and black screen on tv.... only on this particular chromecast or it may not be a trasncoding issue but that what i notice while all this is happening serverLog.txt ffmpegLog.txt Edited November 6, 2017 by rrmelgar
