Channel mapping questions

Hello!

I have just started having trouble with my live tv guide.  After the Nextpvr plugin quit working for me, I tried adding Nextpvr through the tuner devices.  I uninstalled the plugin and was delighted to see that my live tv was working again.  However, now the trouble is that ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, and FOX are missing their guide information.  I have schedule direct as my guide supplier and I use OTA.  The Nextpvr client loads the guide for all channels just fine.  I seem to only be having the trouble through Emby.  I have seen others post this same issue with their homerun thing (I don't know what that is), but I was unsure if I should post a completely new topic or add to theirs.

Thanks,

Mckenzie

Hi @@mckenzie78, if you're running schedules direct, try running the guide refresh scheduled task. a couple days ago schedules direct was offline for maintenance and this may have caused this. thanks.

Luke,

Thanks for your reply!  I clicked Refresh Guide Data under Live TV and it appears to start to refresh and then quits.  The bar doesn't fill up all blue.  It goes about an inch or two and then disappears.  Checked the guide afterwards and now I have no guide.  The channels are still working through clicking the channel heading though.

Thanks,

Mckenzie

what do you mean working through the heading?

At the top of Live tv you have the options of Programs, Guide, Channels, Recordings, Schedule or Series.  Channels and Recordings are the only ones showing anything.

edit: Upon reading that sentence, it didn't make much sense.  Bad grammer.  Sorry!

Try running the guide refresh. If the issue persists, then please attach the server log from the guide refresh. thanks.

It doesn't look like it actually did very much work so i would use the channel mapping feature to make sure the m3u channels are mapped to schedules direct channels.

Thank you, Luke, for remaining so patient with me.  It was an operater error, as my dad would say.  This morning I went in and changed all the numbers so they would show as 1-22 instead of 3.2, 3.4 etc.  I guess doing that cleared out the mapping of the channels which is exactly what I found had happened after reading your suggestion I use that feature.  I mapped a few of the channels and clicked the refresh guide and it actually did something this time.  Went and checked the guide and the few I mapped had guide info.  *blush*

Thank you again for your help!
