geek2014 0 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 The shows from WMC look like this: Tosh.0_COMEDY_2014_02_25_21_58_00.wtv True Detective_HBOHD_2014_02_23_20_58_00.wtv The Colbert Report_CCHD_2014_03_03_23_31_02.wtv Media Browser doesn't seem to know how to turn those into series, episodes, etc. Any idea what i need to do in WMC to set the file naming to coincide with MB or in MB to work with WMC? Media Browser ------------- Episode pattern: %sn - %sx%0e - %en.%ext Multi-Episode pattern: %sn - %sx%0e-x%0ed - %en.%ext

politby 88 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) +1. The Media Center EPG does not have a field for series/episode data and neither does the WTV file metadata, so you have to get it into one of the fields which can be used to name the WTV files. Preferably the subtitle. Essentially you must have access to an XMLTV source plus a tool that can copy the appropriate series/episode numbers into the subtitle and then load the XMLTV file into the WMC EPG.
