So i have a nice running server, debian 8, its running emby latest stable...  messing around last night, i installed debian 9 on a vm, and installed emby.. i noticed it did not need mono, and the lib dir is /var/lib/emby instead of /var/lib/emby-server  and there is another /opt/ directory....  

 

am i correct in saying that the newest emby doesnt need mono? it appears to be working right.

are the path changes correct?

Yes that is correct, and there are no dependencies for this package. Everything is self-contained now and very easy to setup.

wow, damn fast response!!!  ok, im just making sure, that will reduce the overhead(running vmware)

 

I just wanted to be sure before moving everything over!
