mfseeker 0 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Are we supposed to be able to use Resume over DLNA? I can use it at my computer over the Emby Playback web interface but not when I am watching shows on my TV via my ARRIS Moxi Headed Gateway set top box. emby_log_031117.txt Edited November 3, 2017 by mfseeker
Luke 42085 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Yes but this is one of those things that requires individual testing on every dlna device we want to support and we haven't tested on an ARRIS Moxi Headed Gateway set top box. I'll do some regression testing on the devices that we do have available, thanks.
mfseeker 0 Posted November 6, 2017 Author Posted November 6, 2017 In case it may be of some use in solving my resume problem, here is a bit more information. The ARRIS set top box generates a folder called "Continue Watching". When I interrupt a video that I have been watching, it (usually) places the title of that file in that folder, together with a file image which contains a narrow thermometer at its bottom. That thermometer indicates the correct portion of the video that has been watched. I conclude from this that the set top box is sending the information to Emby in the first place and is receiving that information back from Emby for display. However, when I click on the image of the file, it starts showing the file from its beginning rather than from the point that it has correctly identified.
