Hi,

First to give some context:

- Machine I'm running Emby Server on is Windows 10

- on the same machine I'm running an Ubuntu virtual machine and there everything is set properly (according to what I can see):

[0] misel@ubuntu-server[~]:
[16:04:07] $ sudo timedatectl status
[sudo] password for misel:
Local time: Pet 2017-11-03 16:04:16 CET
Universal time: Pet 2017-11-03 15:04:16 UTC
        RTC time: Pet 2017-11-03 15:04:17
        Timezone: Europe/Zagreb (CET, +0100)
     NTP enabled: yes
NTP synchronized: yes
 RTC in local TZ: no
      DST active: no
Last DST change: DST ended at
                  Ned 2017-10-29 02:59:59 CEST
                  Ned 2017-10-29 02:00:00 CET
Next DST change: DST begins (the clock jumps one hour forward) at
                  Ned 2018-03-25 01:59:59 CET
                  Ned 2018-03-25 03:00:00 CEST

- The RTC on host machine is set to UTC

- Timezone on Win10 is set to CET:

- Times in the XMLTV file I receive are in local timezone:

The problem is when I look at the Guide I get all programmes moved by +1 hour. So, instead of showing that some programme is starting at 19:00 I get 20:00.
I can't influence xmltv guide data provider to send times in UTC.

What can I do? And how can I set Emby to show times in 24 hours format?

Check the date and time settings if the device that is displyaying the guide because that matters too.

For date time format some of our apps have a date time locale setting you can use.

Hi Luke,

Even if I look the guide on the server (remote desktop connection, Google Chrome or MS Edge) I get all times offset by +1 hour.

If you observe on this screenshot "Dnevnik 1" programme is shown to start at 1pm tomorrow while xmltv data says it will start on 20171104120000

This is taken on the host machine, the same on which the emby server is running.

Currently if no timezone is given in the xml data, then we assume utc. so i guess that is your issue.

OK. I managed to solve that by installing and reconfiguring WebGrab++ service that fetches xmltv data. Now I get programmes' times with timezone. Thanks!

One more thing - how do I force displaying Guide times in 24hour format instead of AM/PM?

Thanks for the feedback. To configure display time, explore the user display settings in the emby app that you're using. Let us know if this helps. Thanks.

It does help. Thank you. I know that some time ago (a year or two) I tried to find that option in User Settings but I didn't find it then. It's nice that you implemented that later on.

Thanks!
