Hum... Latest everything. Am using cover art.

Aspect ratio's of my movie posters did change since a few days. One of the many, many updates must have messed it up I guess.

My dvd posters are now all stretched to the same width as blu ray posters. In coverart, I have "use the original art aspect ratio" checked.

More information please.  Screenshots would be best.

What theme?  What view?  Consistent everywhere?

Neo theme, MB Classic. Not consistent. Sub movie folders or movie folders withpout blu ray aspect ratio covers kept original (dvd) aspect ratio.

Does it happen in Chocolate?

What does the very first image in that media folder look like?  Is it a screen capture or other landscape type image?

It happens in choco too.

very first image (but that has been like this for ages without aspect ratio problems):

That second item is what is screwing you up.  Get a proper poster shape image on that and your problem will go away.

Thanks EBR. That did it. There was no image in that 2nd movie folder however. I just deleted that particular media folder. It seems that a MB server update had a setting checked to fetch metadata without my approval. Can we please avoid these undemanded changes? If functionality is added, Than please unchecked. let the user decide if he wants it or not.

Is there a way to force the program to make all the icons the same size regardless of their original shape?  I used that feature on MB 2.6 and cannot find it on MB 3.

In the 2.6 configuration file, I believe it was defaultpostersize and maxaspectratiodistortion.  Neither item appears in my new 3 configuration file.

EDIT:  Found them, they are in the user specific config file.  The maxaspectratiodistortion is set to 0.2 by default in Version 3 and was set to 10000 by default in Version 2.6.  By changing the value to the much higher number, I was able to achieve the results I desired.
