jangle 1 Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 Doofus, unfortunately not when I enable hardware acceleration, any ideas?
Guest asrequested Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 OK, so reproduce the issue again, and post the the transcode log. Let's see if it's even using QuickSync.
jangle 1 Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 Good Evening, undertaking the process now.
Guest asrequested Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Post the server log, too. In case Luke needs to see why it isn't being used.

jangle 1 Posted November 2, 2017 Author Posted November 2, 2017 That is weird I am sure it was running. I undertook the same process with hardware enabled and have the following log and it was defiantly playing. server-63645244099.txt
Luke 42078 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 I undertook the same process with hardware enabled and have the following log and it was defiantly playing. Does that mean success now?
Luke 42078 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 As far as the file error - is that a mapped network drive that you setup in windows? If so then we highly discourage using mapped network drives. Instead just use the original network path. Reason being windows will disconnect mapped drives when idle and that is why that error occurred.
Guest asrequested Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 I have a feeling it's just not working with that GPU. I can only speculate as to why.
jangle 1 Posted November 2, 2017 Author Posted November 2, 2017 Ok I will adopt UNC patch direct. The picture is still crackling unfortunately. I can see the FFMPEG.exe process hitting 60% cpu.
Guest asrequested Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Ok I will adopt UNC patch direct. The picture is still crackling unfortunately. I can see the FFMPEG.exe process hitting 60% cpu. Post another transcode log, that last one has no data.

Guest asrequested Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Ok, so now we see QuickSync being used. You have decoding also enabled. Try turning that off, and only use encoding.
