Karlsson 0 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Big and small projects have this feature that is pretty great, they do this thing called beta testing where new bugs are caught before the update goes live. I would love if the Emby team considered introducing this feature.

One day, movies plays great on Android, the next day it doesn't work. Then one day all the icons are replaced by backdrop images. One day title names are nice and clean, the other they are all replaced by the whole file name including extensions. The "fix" just removed file extensions on newly added files but didn't do anything for the rest. And so on...

Considering you're the first to report these issues, I'd wager more thorough testing would not solve your problem(s). For example, I'm not experiencing the behavior you're describing. If you followed protocol https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/, you might see better results.
