Cover art missing on most movies

When I first set up media browser several months ago the cover art for all my movies was automatically added. About a month ago I noticed that most of my movies no longer had the cover art but had only a thumbnail. I could not figure out how to automatically get the cover art back so I manually downloaded it individually for each movie. A short time later I noticed that the cover art was missing again and replaced by a thumbnail. Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix this please? Thanks
