Editing playlist.xml files in notepad

I'm trying to create a marvel cinematic universe playlist for all the tv shows and movies.  I've banged my head against a wall trying to drag and drop with that many files.  I dug and found the actual xml file.  I rearranged everything in there and saved, plus saved a back up just in case.  When I went back to the playlist, it showed in the original order.  I thought maybe I screwed something up, so I deleted the xml file, copied and renamed the back up I saved.  I opened the xml to verify Captain America was first. Refreshed the playlist page and Luke cage was still first.  Opened the xml file again and it's the original.  I moved Luke Cage to the second item and it showed that way in the xml file.  Is there something that is saved in the software somewhere else that keeps track of the order of the files and only works from Emby and not from say in notepad?

Try running a library scan after making those changes. thanks.

Scanned library 4 times, still shows the old order.  Left it sit overnight and just checked, still the old order.

Ok, to be honest this hasn't been thoroughly tested. The only thing that has been tested is using the web interface.  We can look into this for a future update. Thanks.
