Scott D 69 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I've been running my server for about a year now. Things have been running great. The developers are fantastic at getting back when I have had the occassional glitch. Most of the time the problem was sitting at my keyboard. Thanks for a great system. I have noticed over time and changes to server version, that the file structure is changing. I assume this is for better performance. I have noticed that as media is being added, some of the folders/files that were added automatically in the past are not being added anymore. Without doing a complete rebuild of libraries or fresh install, is it possible to get a list of files/folders that are still being used? Or, if easier, which files/folders are no longer being used. I realize most of the files/folders are small in size, but when spread over large libraries the total used adds up quickly. Below is what I am looking at currently: MOVIE FILE STRUCTURE – PARENT FOLDER extrafanart - folder extrathumbs - folder .actors - folder banner.jpg clearart.png disc.png fanart.png folder.png landscape.png logo.png poster.png moviename-320.bif moviename.(MEDIA TYPE, MKV, MP4, etc.) moviename.nfo TV SERIES FILE STRUCTURE PARENT FOLDER extrafanart - folder extrathumbs- folder .actors - folder SEASON xx(s) – folder(s) banner.jpg clearart.png fanart.png folder.png landscape.png logo.png poster.png seasonxx-banner.jpg(s) seasonxx-landscape.jpg(s) seasonxx-poster.jpg(s) seasonxx-fanart.jpg(s) tvshow.nfo TV SERIES SEASON FOLDERS .actors - folder Showname SxxExx.jpg Showname SxxExx.(MEDIA TYPE, MKV, MP4, etc.) Showname SxxExx.nfo Showname SxxExx-thumb.jpg Showname SxxExx-320.bif season.nfo Thanks for any info. 1
Luke 42080 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 We don't have a way to give you a list of files being used, but you can check out our naming guidelines on the wiki which goes over both media and images: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie%20naming And that should give you a pretty good idea. Thanks.
