Question about my hard drives

Hi,

I’m trying to get to the bottom of an issue with Emby not playing any Movie or TV media - only music will play.

Around the time the issues started Emby was updated.

I’m definitely not trying to blame the update but I’ve bad tracked through everything else I did around that time.

This is happening on the web client and all roku devices.

As mentioned, prior to content not playing a few things happened.

-          I rebooted the Emby Server - Windows 7 PC, after updates.

-          Emby updated to 3.2.35.0

-          I changed the external name Emby responds to (since changed it back)

From a Roku I get a HTTP error. From the web client I just get the background image, nothing else.

When looking a task manager on the server I’m noticing ffmpeg isn’t firing at all.
It always does so that seems odd. What is the best way to check ffmpeg is ok?

I have attached my latest server log.

I’ve tried playing heaps of media and no ffmpeg logs are generating.

Thanks heaps.

Application directory: C:\Users\Media\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\System
System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'F:\TranscodingTemp\transcoding-temp'.

at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, Object dirSecurityObj, Boolean checkHost)

Looks like some kind of configuration problem. If the F: drive is a mapped network drive, do not use mapped network drives.

Hey Luke,

Nope definitely don’t use mapped drives, I know they’re a no no.

Arh I see in explorer now F: is no longer a drive letter.

Thanks, I’ll change the transcoding path in settings.

 Champion, thanks mate.
