MCE Remote setup

Guys,

 

I can only apologise as I am sure this has been raised (and probably solved) many times before but I cannot find the answer in the emby Theatre section.

 

I have been using using emby/ Media Browser for many years and used to love how it was seamless with media centre - especially the remote. I now have a Win 10 PC under my lounge TV and have dug out my old MCE remote but cannot get it working with emby theatre. Is there a set-up guide anywhere that I can use?

 

I have Kodi on the same PC and the remote works in that but I dont like the fact that my small kids will have access to all media. I really like the way I can set up users in emby so would prefer to stick with it if possible.

 

Please feel free to point me in the direction of existing threads outlining what I need to do.

Hi Emby Theater for Windows Desktop should support most MCE remote buttons right out of the box. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
