G2T 2 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I installed the latest update and opened EMBY to find that none of collections or configuration is available. I still see the two user accounts I have but nothing else. 1
maximumentropy 24 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) Same here, all of my content has vanished. Version 3.2.35.0 Edit: Forcing a media scan seems to be the fix here ( Dashboard > Library > Scan All Libraries ) Edited October 29, 2017 by maximumentropy
G2T 2 Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 This appears to have fixed it for me too.
Luke 42083 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Glad to hear the library scan has you squared away.
maximumentropy 24 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I also found later in the day that users who had access only to specific libraries, they now had access to no libraries so I needed to manually re-add their access. Also, for all users on the server I needed to log in with their profile and then manually reset the home screen "Library Profile" options for merged Movies and TV views.

Same, I had to permission everyone gain.
Sp3kt3r 13 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) Same here, I lost all user settings, library permission etc... Edited October 29, 2017 by Sp3kt3r
Luke 42083 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Apologies, the library settings being affected was not anticipated. This is something that will only affect a very small subset of users and I apologize that you're on that list. Nonetheless, I would think you should be able to run a scan, reconfigure your libraries and you should be good to go.

I think it might have been larger than a small subset, long time user affected too, have to rescan and readd all libraries to users. Thanks to know it wasn't me! Any user that did have "All Libary" access lost all of them. Edited October 30, 2017 by meddaugh
Happy2Play 9783 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 It is rather odd though I had no issues so I would say "small subset" also. A specific configuration or setting.

The key will be a combination of the age of your installation plus using a configuration where your users have access only to specific libraries (not all).
