I al doubting to buy a 2:35 screen instead of 16:9 now However i wanted to see how much of my movies are actually 16:9. Or 21:9 How do i do this? Through emby or kodi? Does emby put this aspect ratio flag or kodi? How trusty is it? What about iso files? Will it show correct flag too? Thx in advance
sualfred 677 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 If you are using the native path method Kodi can output the AR (eg 2.35AR) - > $INFO[ListItem.VideoAspect] or $INFO[VideoPlayer.VideoAspect]. But keep in mind that the most Kodi skins doesn't support 21:9 and the GUI is messed up. Mostly because we skinners don't have a 21:9 device to run tests (Embuary for example only supports 16:9 atm). You also can check it in the WebGUI of Emby in the media info section.

sualfred 677 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 You cannot filter movies by AR in Kodi or Emby. You have to check every single movie you have. Just click on a movie in Emby and scroll down to the media informatoin section
