icsy7867 8 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I am trying to perform something similar to this: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/7021-commandline-to-initiate-library-scan/ When I try to load: http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/ScheduledTasks It does not seem to find the page, but if I load: http://localhost:8096/ScheduledTasks/Running/ I get "Access token is required." Any ideas?
Luke 42078 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Hi, /mediabrowser is not valid anymore. Replace your bookmark with just http://localhost:8096
icsy7867 8 Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 I did: http://localhost:8096/ScheduledTasks/Running/ But it says "Access Token is Required"
Luke 42078 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 That url is not something you ever need to access manually unless you are trying to use the Emby API. If you want to use the API then you can learn about that here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/wiki Otherwise just open up http://localhost:8096 And click your way through the web interface to configure scheduled tasks. Does this help?
icsy7867 8 Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 Yep, I am trying to use the API, I will try to do more research. Thank you.
