enforcersu 1 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Updated to the latest version of Emby Server last night (3.2.34) When I am trying to play any of the recorded TV from the past few hours, I just get a black screen. (Web UI, in the latest version of Google Chrome). I've tried the following: Rebooting Chrome. Rebooting Emby Server Trying different recordings. Nothing seems to work. Dashboard seems to indicate it thinks the item is playing even after closing the tab. Server logs attached. Let me know if more details are required. emby_server_log20171027.txt
Luke 42083 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Try turning off quicksync and see if that helps. Thanks.
enforcersu 1 Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 Negative. Attached log ffmpeg_noquicksync.txt
Luke 42083 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I noticed you've customized your ffmpeg build. try deleting this folder: C:\Users\Steve\Documents\ffmpeg-20171016-7480f23-win64-static\bin And then restarting the server. Thanks.
enforcersu 1 Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 Didn't work. All the following do work: Converted MP4 files Currently recording shows live TV The only thing that doesn't work ATM is shows that have finished recording but are not yet converted, only on the webapp (worked fine on my mobile app).
Guest asrequested Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) Have you tested the recordings in an another player, to make sure the recording is correct? Sorry, just saw the last comment. Edited October 27, 2017 by Doofus
enforcersu 1 Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 Yep, recorded by Emby this morning. It works in Plex to play.
Luke 42083 Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Can you provide a copy of the file for testing? thanks.
enforcersu 1 Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 Yeah - how should I best share? (sorry for the newb question ) The file *does* play on my mobile app.
Luke 42083 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 dropbox or google drive would be great, thanks.
Luke 42083 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 The supplied ffmpeg log appears to be from playing live tv, not from playing a video file.
