Sammy 790 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I'm seeing double subtitles in ET. Here's a picture and server log. There's no ffmpeg log as it was direct streaming. What's up? Server Log 24102017.txt
Luke 42078 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Try setting the video settings in the app to their defaults.
Sammy 790 Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 @@Luke, I will do that next round of testing. Thanks.
Sammy 790 Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 I set everything back to default. The issue persists.
Sammy 790 Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 I tested two files with the same results but I'll test a few more and report back.
Luke 42078 Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 There was a similar thread a few months ago but i can't find it. it turned out the user had a video with subtitles that were pre-burned in, and they were activating an additional subtitle track at the same time. maybe @ remembers.
Guest asrequested Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Yes, I vaguely remember that. An easy way to see if that's the case. If the subs are an external srt, move it to separate folder and then disable all subs. If you still have subs on screen, it would appear they are burned in. Luke, what would happen if there were two copies of the subs? The same one, both external an internal. Could they be played simultaneously?
Sammy 790 Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 I'll check it out with external subs off in the server.
