emby connect for existing user

I must be missing something, but hope someone can help.  I am assuming my main username can be used for connect?  How do I link my already existing account?  It wont let me use the username to 'sign up' which means it is in use, right?  I have tried adding my email address to my user on the local server and its asking if i have created a connect account.

nevermind.  brain fart over here.  my old emby account was not using the email address i was trying to use in emby..
