Folder view? Not all photos visible

Hi!

I have a mixed collection of photos, videos and audio files in a rather big directory structure sorted by events. Rearranging the files on the disc is not an option - this collection is synched to some places for other purposes (its more or less a documentation of the events) and I can not change that.

So viewing directly on the file system I have:

+Event1
 +S9100
  +01
   -01.jpg
   -02.jpg
   -03.jpg
  +02
   -01.jpg
   -02.jpg
   -03.mp4
 +S3
  +01
   -01.jpg
   -02.jpg
 +Rec
  +01.mp3
+Event2
 +S9100
  +01
   -01.jpg
   -02.jpg
   -03.mp4
   -04.mp3
  +02
   -01.jpg
   -02.jpg
 +D700
  +01
   -01.jpg
   -02.jpg

I added it to emby as "Unset (mixed content)", I tried "Home video and photos", "Photos".

I enabled "Display a folder view to show plain media folders" in the Library settings.

But none of them works fully - and no difference if I enter the dir through an emby app, the web gui, DLNA, through folder view or the media library:

either the directory is empty, no pictures to see (just an empty directory), the file names are not viewable, Directory names are changed (Season [something] instead of S9100)...

Currently I have it as "Unset (mixed content)" and cant see any content - only the directories.

How to configure emby to just show the file? So no fancy naming, no sorting, no nothing...

I would love to just see the filename including its extension, sorted as it is in the file system, and perhaps a preview-Image. And that in emby and in a DLNA-Client.

Is that possible?

Regards

Lukas

The unset content type doesn't support photos so you'll have to use either photos or home videos

But they don't show the sound files...

So is there any way to show them all - photos, videos and sound? And with the full file name as it is on disc? Including the extension? And perhaps the other files in the directory too so you can see that there is another file that can't be processed at the moment?

I'm shure I'm not the only one waiting for that according to some posts...
