Guest asrequested Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I've just started having this happen. I have 2 primes. 6 tuners and they never all get used or 'over booked'. One tuner is stuck on, right now. I have to restart the server to release it.
Guest asrequested Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I see the tuner light on long after the recording has ended and the server reports it in use.
maegibbons 1287 Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Hmmm looking at the logs the recording of channel 705 completed nornally and the hdhr stream was closed. Earlier in the evening you had quite a few steam openings for Live TV on channels 702 and 703. Are you sure that one of those devices running Live TV was still not connected to the stream. i.e i do not think it was the recording that hung the Tuner up. I think it was one of the live TV streams. If it happens again check directly on the HDHR which channel is actually tumed in. It will help to debug.what is actually holding the tuner. Krs Mark
Guest asrequested Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 All but one of those streams were recordings, too. It isn't watching live TV that caused this, as the tuner turns off. This leaves only one option. One the recordings.
maegibbons 1287 Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Thats not true as per the log. There was a recording at 8pm and one at 9pm. Live stream was opened at 18:36, 18:51, 18:52, 18:53, 18.54, 18:55, 19:00, 19:04, 19:06, 19:53 and others. (Looks like they were all chan 702) I am only going from what is in the logs. You may have had an error condition. However, i will leave you to it. Krs Mark
Guest asrequested Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Oh I forgot I was testing the DXVA2 issue. But I did record several shows. I'll try to be more diligent, when it happens next time.
