Hi, I've got the same issue (seeing the deflate message) but having trouble updating from .18 to .19.  Will try again shortly and post logs if still the same.

Thanks

I am just running a guide refresh with .19 to see if I see any change.

Ok, Just ran it and my guide is fine and no deflate errors in log.

Perhaps this is lineup related.

Can one of you try using MY lineup?

Hi, same with Version 3.2.33.19 beta.

Windows 7 x64

Edit: My SD lineup is fine as I use this with EPG123 for WMC and it has updated fine.

No difference for me with your postcode.

Not sure if it is relevant but my cache folder is not in the default location. I've moved all the metadata and cache files to a separate SSD for speed

Just edited post #31 to say my SD lineup is fine as I use this with EPG123 for WMC and it has updated fine.

I've just installed emby beta to my laptop and it has downloaded the guide without issue. But that was a completely fresh install and with the temp folder in the default location.

What should I check next?

Just tried rebooting my server and updated to .20 but same difference. I appreciate the support.

Could something of got corrupted in the change over from old to new .net core?

Did you move from mono install to .net core when this happened?

My personal feeling is that it is an issue with the OS httpclient library.

Your 2011 install is quite old and so was @@Latchmor Win 7 install.

The .net core version could be driving the underlying OS httpclient in a slightly different way.

i am not sure whether even this is technically correct. i.e. does .net core have its own FULL implemantation of the httpclient anyways and is not reliant in any way on OS librarys???

However, this is just gut feeling.  I dont have a Win7 or 2011 VM that i could test it on at present.

If i find a way to easily test it i will.

Yea that's similar to what I'm starting to wonder about.

You both could be onto something.

I've just tested in a Win7 VM and got the deflate error on that too.

Is there any chance this can be fixed or will I have to update my OS? It is running fine apart from this issue and sorta reluctant to change if I can

I can't change from Windows 7 but I can do a fresh install of Emby .net core if needed. I was planning to, just not yet!  ;)

Actually, what stage is the migration from old .net to new .net core?  I'm always on beta so have I been migrated already or do I have to manually make the change?

Hi Luke, setup portable as requested. It's not working but a different outcome. Refresh guide hardly does anything and only lasts 3 seconds so not much in the log attached. Everything in the Live TV section setup the same as my normal install. Removed the SD provider and added again a few times but always the same.

Also a small alignment issue on the provider page.  ;)

Sorry had a brain fart. Just realised I got mixed up between favourites in Emby and favourites set in the HDHomerun   Refreshing now, log to follow if it fails...
