Couple of questions

Hi

 

I am fairly new to Emby and kodi for emby but have been using Plexkodiconnect for the past year or so.

 

1.Is it normal to take 15-30 seconds for something to play after selecting it, i get the spinning circle for about 10s then a slight freeze for maybe about 3s and then spinning circle for another 10s or so and then the movie plays.

 

2.I am using a Chromebox with libreelec(kodi 17) and use the suspend function, Every time i wake it is does a scan which is normal but it takes 20-45 minutes each time...is this normal?

 

Sometimes it says "comapring movies and such" which i think is normal but a lot of the times it says "manual sync" which i don't think is normal( could be totally wrong on this)

 

edit--just noticed the server is using 97% memory so this is probably the reason for this problem

 

I am using the addon by default settings and everything else default in the kodi addon, version 2.3.55

 

I am using the latest kodi for Emby and use the Titan and Embuary skin.

Make sure you install the fast sync plugin server plugin. How big is your library?
