Tur0k 148 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 (edited) It is serious but not terrible. The most risk is an attacker in proximity of your wifi. At least the attack isn't sourced from anywhere with connectivity to the Internet. The main danger is lazy home wifi and WNIC manufacturers. Note that VPN connections or web services that are encrypted with publicly trusted SSL are not vulnerable as they are separately encrypted client to server and the computer can tell if the SSL certificate is not valid. Note that you need to patch, OS, drivers, and APs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited October 17, 2017 by Tur0k
mastrmind11 722 Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Just patch everything. It's free and you have nothing to lose.
Swynol 375 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 ubiquiti was quick to respond with firmware updates. Also Aruba which we use at work. Cisco a bit slow.
