bradford 9 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 (edited) I searched the forums for an answer but I couldn't find anything. Why does Emby insist on transcoding VC-1 video to my Shield TV? AFAIK the Shield TV supports that codec? I got a few old Blu-Rays that have that codec and my measly CPU can't handle the transcode. As a side note, when I have my GT 710 do the transcoding, I get 5x the speed but I get regular skips/stutters.
