dougw03 16 Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Hi, I had a regularly scheduled recording of a 1-hour show and noticed that my SSD space was running out. I searched for the largest files on my drive and inside the emby server/transcoding-temp my recording was at 134GB and it appears windows had stopped the file from growing because I had <2GB of space on my drive. In Emby it shows that this is still actively recording even though it was supposed to stop about a week ago. I cannot attach the server log because "The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\logs\record-transcode-49f75fbc-39dd-4003-a1e1-47a309b7f4e1.txt' because it is being used by another process." Any ideas what might be going on here?

Luke 42089 Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 It's resolved for the next release, thanks.
dougw03 16 Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 It's resolved for the next release, thanks. Will this be releasing soon? We really need a patch ASAP. Emby is wreaking havoc on my server PC with FFmpeg running for hours on end and filling up my SSD continuously.
mastrmind11 722 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 FWIW, I have not had this issue, but I rarely use live recording.
Jdiesel 1431 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 To be fair I experience this even when I don't record or watch live tv.
