mastrmind11 722 Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Looks like TMDB is returning a 404 for movie w/ id 301231, which is causing emby to crash w/ a DIrectoryNotFound that corresponds to that movie's cache directory. Try forcing a refresh on that movie (whichever it might be, Im too lazy to query the API manually).
Luke 42080 Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Hi, can you try removing your installed plugins and see if the issue persists? thanks.
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 15, 2017 Author Posted October 15, 2017 Ok, disabled the plugins. Still the same problem. Log Attached. server-63643683144.txt
ebr 16185 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Ok, disabled the plugins. Still the same problem. Log Attached. Was an "unhandled..." log created?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 You may need to enable debug logging also. Note you have to restart Emby when you enable debug logging. Dashboard-Logs
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 Was an "unhandled..." log created? I didn't see one in the log directory. Would it be in a different directory?
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 You may need to enable debug logging also. Note you have to restart Emby when you enable debug logging. Dashboard-Logs Enabled Debug logging.
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 Log file wit debug enabled attached. server-63643706890.txt
Luke 42080 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 How are you determining that emby server has shut down?
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 (edited) How are you determining that emby server has shut down? Because it's not running???? If i restart it, 10 mins later it's not running. It's also not in the task manager list Edited October 16, 2017 by JohnsLibrary
Luke 42080 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Can you check your windows event viewer logs for any information about the shutdown? thanks.
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 Can you check your windows event viewer logs for any information about the shutdown? thanks. Nothing unusual. Just that there is an update to EPG which I just did.
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 Did the EPG database update. Then loaded emby. Library scan was about 75% done and then the program quit. Attached the latest log file. server-63643760006.txt
Luke 42080 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 If you're on windows can you try running the beta installer from the website and let me know if the issue persists? thanks.
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Ok, I downloaded the beta version as you suggested. When I run it, I get the error in the attached screen shot. I have tried using "Run as Administrator" also with the same error.
Luke 42080 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 @@JohnsLibrary, try rebooting your system, then re-run the installer.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Are you running Emby as a Service? Since that error basically says Emby is running and I can't overwrite it.
JohnsLibrary 9 Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 Installed the beta version and so far it's been running. Will post later if problems occur. Thanks for the help.
