<SortRemoveWords> not being honored

I am running Emby Premiere version 3.2.33.0.

 

I defined the following onto AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\config\system.xml:

  <SortRemoveWords>
    <string>a</string>
    <string>an</string>
    <string>as</string>
    <string>o</string>
    <string>os</string>
    <string>um</string>
    <string>uma</string>
    <string>umas</string>
    <string>uns</string>
    <string>the</string>
  </SortRemoveWords>

But it does not seem to work:

 

 

 

Is there any other configuration to be done in order to get <SortRemoveWords> to work properly?

Try refreshing those titles. Changing the config file will not affect existing titles, only new ones. To apply it to existing titles you'll need to refresh them.

Thanks for the quick response. I already tested this on one movie and indeed it worked.

 

I have lots of custom sinopses and genres so refreshing these movies would require manual backup and restore of the custom information.

 

I wonder if you could be more specific on what did change on the nfo or xml files.

This way I coud use a batch editing tool and wipe out or correct the info.
