Bigjohns97 4 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 I am doing this same thing with hdhomerun and live tv with EMBY server, client side i have emby theatre and stats for nerds is showing direct play however when i look at the server it is still using 20% cpu and I do nothing it writing to a transcode-temp ts file, just trying to understand why i would be doing that if it was direct from the hdhomerun?
Luke 42078 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 It is direct without transcoding, but we are still running it through emby server in order to create a buffer file for seeking the live stream.
