Media Portal tv server failed

I have now had 186 messages all saying the same thing refresh recordings with changes from mediaportal tvserver failed. Can someone tell me why this is and what I can do to sort it.

There's a hidden task that checks every 60 seconds for changes to your TVServer's recording database. If the TVServer isn't reachable at this time, you will get an error.
