Custom DLNA profile identification

Hi!

Tried to make a custom DLNA profile for an DLNA client.

But I'm stuck at the Identification.

My profile reads:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Profile xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
  <Name>Tablet SM-T580</Name>
  <Identification>
    <FriendlyName>BubbleUPnP (SM-T580)</FriendlyName>
    <ModelNumber />
    <SerialNumber />
    <ModelName />
    <DeviceDescription />
    <ModelUrl />
    <Manufacturer />
    <ManufacturerUrl />
    <Headers />
  </Identification>
  <FriendlyName>ShouldSeeThis</FriendlyName>
  <Manufacturer>Emby</Manufacturer>
  <ManufacturerUrl>http://emby.media/</ManufacturerUrl>
  <ModelName>Emby Server</ModelName>
  <ModelNumber>Emby</ModelNumber>
  <ModelUrl>http://emby.media/</ModelUrl>
  <SerialNumber />
(cut the rest)

But when I connect to the Emby-Server from the DLNA Client I still get the default profile.

The Log reads:

2017-10-11 20:09:05.360 Info Dlna: No matching device profile found. The default will need to be used.
	DeviceDescription:
	FriendlyName:BubbleUPnP (SM-T580)
	Manufacturer:Bubblesoft
	ManufacturerUrl:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1118891
	ModelDescription:BubbleUPnP Media Renderer
	ModelName:BubbleUPnP Media Renderer
	ModelNumber:2.8.11
	ModelUrl:
	SerialNumber:

So what I am missing, that emby dlna doesnt recognize the FriendlyName property?

Hi, are you trying to do this for direct play purposes? because the default profile should already be doing that. thanks.

I want to present different content with different transcoding to different DLNA-Devices.

Tried to achieve this by assigning DLNA profiles to the different devices.

The different content because I don't want to see all content on all devices.

The transcoding because I have a problem with showing photos on several DLNA devices. If I open the Photos now (added to emby as "Photos", as "Home videos & photos" or as "mixed content") I get good previews but opening a photo presents them in a tiny size... I thought this might be because the photos have a way bigger resolution than the screens so wanted to transcode them on the server.

It's resolved for the next release of Emby Server, thanks !

The problem with the tiny images seems to be fixed - but I can still not configure a custom DLNA-Profile. Same settings as above, same result as above.
