Xbox One S audio/video out of sync

Hello,

 

Since the creative update it has been almost impossible to play videos from Emby theater on my Xbox One.

 

Lately thing have been a lot better but I am still getting times when the audio and video are out of sync. 

 

At times things go out of sync half way through or like last night only the last few minutes, 

 

Last night the last few minutes of the show the audio was ahead of the video by 10 to 20 seconds. There was no crashes.

 

On the server I did see 2 trans-code logs, one from when the show started and one right around when I was having issues. I can't say for sure that I didn't try playing the show again, it was late.

 

When this happens in the middle of the show I have to switch to Ember to finish watching.

 

When this happens again in the middle of a show I will make sure I capture the logs.

 

One note, I have only seen this with the Emby Theater app on the Xbox One, Ember or on my Mac I have not seen this issue.

 

Server Version 3.2.33.0

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated and keep up the good work.

I'm also noticing sync issues just in the web interface, FWIW.

I too am having this issue. With all my media only on the Xbox One App but one thing that also occasionally happens is that the audio will just make a loud buzzing sound for several second then go back to the regular audio. If there is any additional info I can offer please let me know.

An update to the Xbox app is rolling out. Microsoft has resolved a number of playback related issues in the Fall Creators update, and our new app update will take advantage of them. Make sure your Xbox One is fully up to date with all system updates.
