New Server Auto organise Query

just installed the new server as per instruction.

 

i got this after setting up the auto organise and watch download folder

 

"Organize new media files failed

2 minutes ago

The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters."

 

download folder is on the same machine

 

pc/user/downloads

 

any ideas?

It will scan every file that is in that scan folder, chances are there are some files with long names in folders with long names that takes it past the 260 limit. Might be worth double checking that, but yeah, the server should probably handle this more gracefully.

pc/user/downloads doesnt look right?

 

[driveletter]:\pc\user\downloads or \\servername\downloads might be more appropriate.

This feature work great for me. Only one question though: Is there any way that files can be moved without renaming the file (ie keeping the original file name)?
