Cannot connect to server via app.emby.media

Hello,

i have two servers, both can be connected via web ui locally, but when i try to connect from remote via http://app.emby.media i can connect just to 1 of them while for the other i have the message you can see in attach.

Is there something i have to set to connect from remote?

 

From remote i can connect to that server if i connect via putty to server opening a tunnel.

OK, the problem is surely that i didn't open port on my router.

I supposed it was like plex where i didn't have to open any port.

In Plex you do have to open ports, they just open them for you. Same thing.

I've just opened port, and now all is ok.

 

Do you suggest to open only https or also http one?

Depends. Have you setup an ssl cert?
