KarlDag 25 Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 I thought FOR SURE I had seen emby do automatic quality switching a few weeks ago. I was playing back a file, and looking at "stats for nerds" I could see the stream change from "Transcoding" to "direct stream" and back on the fly. Did I dream? I can't seem to reproduce it tonight, but I'm sure I've seen it in the past. Is it a feature in beta that was perhaps pulled? Is it something upcoming? Thanks
Luke 42077 Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 We do have auto quality but at this time only at the beginning of playback. The quality does not change during playback.
