craigtrombly 0 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I updated to the new release and my entire library is now gone. Why? All the files are there, all the pictures, movies, related, everything on the file system is present, but nothing is showing in my library now. Is this a bug? Does this happen with all server upgrades? very frustrated......
craigtrombly 0 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Is it typical to lose the library during an upgrade? I have it back, but I had to completely reboot the server. I have approx a thousand movies and yes the scan did finish and nothing was there. If upgrading the server does this, it would be nice to know. This was my first server upgrade as this is the first media software I am using to serve the library I have.
Luke 42077 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 this is not normal. this release had a lot of internal changes that required us to rescan your entire library. the blog post goes into detail about it. it is not something you can expect to see again.
