If not, how long after it's made available for Windows is it typically made available for Linux?

For distros maintained by the emby team, it is immediately available following new releases.

And which distros are those?  Any that docker containers can use?  The current container I'm using is linked to the Arch Linux repository.

arch is maintained by a community contributor, alucryd, but all the other mainstream distros are maintained by us, e.g. debian, ubuntu, centos, fedora, open suse.

Thank you.  Just re-installed using the emby/embyserver container and it upgraded successfully.
