bla8291 1 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I am having trouble with AAC audio on my soundbar (Vizio SB4051-C0) when I use the connected Chromecast to view live TV. It sounds like I'm only getting the left/right data from the original 5.1 AC3 content, so if I'm watching the news or some other show where most of the content is dialogue played through the center channel, I can hear very little or nothing at all. My receiver can play the 5.1 AAC audio just fine, however. I initially thought this was a problem on my end, but I found a similar thread for the Fire TV which describes my problem. Is there a setting I can change to force stereo AAC for devices that can't (or won't) handle it? ffmpeg-transcode-d8c24067-3253-418f-9d89-40be9a8a3cd0.txt server-63642585600.txt
