iOS time, battery, and reception?

I might be alone here but would be nice to see the clock and the battery... and maybe the reception (wifi/cellular bars) at the top of the screen when it is tapped on during playback. It would be nice to not have to stop and restart playback to see these things

ugh.  You can't do that with iOS?  For Android it's a system level thing... you can (almost) always swipe down to view your notification bar.

No, you can always pull down the screen from the top which shows this info. Even when media is playing
