ASS subs causing ffmpeg crash?

I just installed a fresh copy of Emby (3.2.32.0) and was testing out my media. All of them play fine, except for the MKV videos with ASS subs (fonts and styles) will never properly buffer for me. When I play the media, they play fine with subtitles until I try to skim ahead to where the buffer hasn't quite reached yet. This will cause an endless buffer and never properly play until I either turn off the subtitles or restart the playback.

Again, all my mp4 media plays fine and will transcode when needed without any issues. When it comes to my MKV videos (Anime) with ASS subs, they will cause an endless buffer that will not let me watch them without turning off the subs. And yes I do have Allow subtitle extraction on the fly turned off.

The burn in process can be painful for some files. Why did you turn off extraction?

I turned off extraction due to the fonts and style for the subtitle becoming a bit messy. Anyways, it still causes the same issue for me. And I have Plex running as well and that has no issues playing back the media.

I hope this link is okay, I wanted you to have the whole video instead of a snippet. (Deletes itself after a few days)

Also, I made a quick video showing the issue with the same MKV video.

You confirmed the issue happens with the sample, right?

Yes, it's the same exact video.

Ok if i allow extraction it works just fine for me. If i turn that off then i can reproduce the stall on seeking. I'm not yet sure what the issue is.
