Quiptix 2 Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 My first experience: Clear the cache of your browser first and check all configs of the libraries. I lost some settings there!!!
Luke 42077 Posted May 3, 2018 Author Posted May 3, 2018 Some library settings have been moved from global to per-library, so yes I would review the per-library settings.
Luke 42077 Posted May 7, 2018 Author Posted May 7, 2018 Emby Server 3.4.1 is now available on the website for download. Thanks guys.
EvilUnicorn 0 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 (edited) Strangely I'm getting an error when starting Emby (used to run fine): error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 I'm running Emby on a TS459 Pro+ which is old but is 64 bit and besides it did work before the upgrade. Any clue what could have caused this error? using: emby-server-qnap_3.4.1.0_x86_64.qpkg Edited May 22, 2018 by EvilUnicorn
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Hi - i'm reasonably sure this is an error due to 32bit and 64bit libraries libdl.so.2: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 I have a 459 Pro II - its an Intel Atom cpu - and yes they are 64 bit cpu's these class of QNAP's are eol - and i am 99.9% sure have a 32 bit OS only You have installed a x64 version of Emby for .net core - there is no 32 bit version of Emby that uses .net core - i think there was originally in beta but it got pulled You can still install the MONO version of Emby though with QMono ffmpeg etc which will work as i have a version on my 459 Pro II which although slow does work.
EvilUnicorn 0 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Thanks for the answer. I'll remove this version and guess I'm back to the qnap club version. Time for a new NAS ;-)
Luke 42077 Posted June 9, 2018 Author Posted June 9, 2018 Here's the latest beta release for those interested in testing: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/3.4.1.13/emby-server-qnap_3.4.1.13_x86_64.qpkg It updates to the .NET Core 2.1 runtime. Thanks.
Vidarr 9 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 (edited) I got acces denied after the restart of the server with the new update EDIT : Work fine after the NAS restarted Edited June 9, 2018 by Vidarr
Perlbo 1 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Access denied where? Same Probleme here. Access denied on try to open Emby "WebPage"
Luke 42077 Posted June 10, 2018 Author Posted June 10, 2018 Can you try rebooting the device? In our testing it seems to be working fine. Thanks.
Perlbo 1 Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 Hi, rebooting the Device/NAS solves the problem. Never had to reboot before after updating Emby.. Thank you very much ...
Luke 42077 Posted June 10, 2018 Author Posted June 10, 2018 Thanks for the feedback. We'll try and find out why that's required. 1
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 Just to confirm i am seeing the Access denied - when trying to open the Emby Home page A reboot clears the error @@Luke For INFO - Qnap have had numerous issues with firmware bugs over the last couple of months - they have pulled 4 out of 5 of the last firmware updates - so this error might not be Emby related

sfanetti 0 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 It's not perfect the FOLDER VIEW on my shield Tv (2017). The first folder is ok, but the subfolders are merged... Can I do something? Let me know. Thanks
Luke 42077 Posted June 12, 2018 Author Posted June 12, 2018 Can you please discuss some specific examples? thanks.
sfanetti 0 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 I have 1 folder (comedy) with 3 subfolders (comedy 1,comedy 2, comedy 3). Each subfolder have 3 comedy movies. When I open the root folder (comedy), i don't see the 3 subfolders, but I see the 9 films togheter. Why? Nvidia Shield Tv (v.2017) emby server (v.3.4.1.0) on Qnap 453Pro. Please help me

AJNinGA 1 Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 New QNAP user. Installed Emby 3.4.0 and upgraded in app to 3.4.1 During setup of the TS-251+, I disabled all of the media stations, as well as the Media Streaming Add-On. As is, Emby is working great and I haven't seen any errors and my users have not reported any issues. My question is regarding transcoding...everything seems as if its happening but how can I "confirm" that the built-in transcode hardware is functioning correctly?
