BAlGaInTl 288 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I'm having an issue with recording since upgrading to server 3.2.32.0. All of my recordings seem to be noisier (so is Live TV), and are being split in to multiple files with multiple transcode logs. Last night, this happened again while recording The Orville. It also happened for another show at the same time. I'm attaching a Server log from last night as well as the 3 transcode logs. Did something change in the latest release that could be causing this? server-63642153600.txtrecord-transcode-c46594e9-4898-4d3f-9f93-eb580be79977.txtrecord-transcode-0aafbac6-75af-481a-9f8e-731293a21b36.txtrecord-transcode-f8caed3b-f2c8-4441-a764-03b6d8a281ec.txt Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

BAlGaInTl 288 Posted September 29, 2017 Author Posted September 29, 2017 Have yor rebooted your HDHrs? Whats TV like using the HDHR software. Seems like a stream issue from HDHR Krs Mark I have not rebooted the HDHRs. I'll give that a try tonight. I don't think they've rebooted in months. I'll check the firmware while I'm at it. Live TV is also suffering from artifacts and quality issues. But it's never been "great" in my location since everything I'm doing is OTA.
Luke 42078 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 It's split because it encounters an error and then tries again. A random drop in signal strength is a very possible reason.
BAlGaInTl 288 Posted September 29, 2017 Author Posted September 29, 2017 I've updated the firmware on my HDHR3-US units and restarted them. We'll see if that helps.
BAlGaInTl 288 Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 It seems that it may have been a server issue, although I'm not sure what was going on. I couldn't view channels with the HDHomerun App either. I completely updated/rebooted my file server and everything is back to normal. I'll chalk this one up to an anomoly.
Luke 42078 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Most likely it was a random drop in signal that led to the recording failure.
