Music slow to start in desktop app

With the latest release, 2.8.6. Music takes a long time to start. I compared it to the web app and the store app. Those start, instantly. I made GIFs to illustrate.

Tested, seems to be fine. Sounds like maybe you've tinkered with something and that might be causing this?

This is what's in my conf

vf=yadif=field:yes

audio-device=wasapi/SC-95 (Intel(R) Display Audio)
af=lavcac3enc=yes:640:2

osd-font-size=20

msg-level=all
log-file="D:\mpv logs\Theater mpv log.txt"

I removed the conf file, no change. And if it were that, the rest of my files (movies, music videos...) would also be affected. All other files, play instantly. I even tried a clean install.

There's some improvement, today. I don't know, why. I haven't changed anything. It still takes a second or two. It would nice if it started as quick as the store app. It's odd, because if I play anything else, let's use a music video for comparison. The files are on the same drive. It starts very quickly.
