e123enitan 275 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 @ Angelblue, As I was browsing through this thread https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/49196-emby-server-memory-usage/?p=470721, Luke mentioned "improvements in the pipeline for the Emby for Kodi addon that will reduce the load that the addon puts on the server but they are not ready for release yet" has this been implemented yet, or still a work in progress, as I'm curious to know whatever, development that been or to be made to improve the addon, if so what might this entails, could you share a brief thoughts. Cheers!
Luke 42077 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Some small improvements have been made to the plugin, but many are still to come. If you want to do away with syncing altogether then I would suggest checking out the EmbyCon add-on: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/46651-embycon-kodi-addon/ Thanks.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) I honestly don't know. Only the initial sync pools the entire emby database. After that, it only processes updates. Anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited September 28, 2017 by Angelblue05
